About Tom Gillis Golf Instruction
Tom Gillis has been involved in the golf business his whole life. He is now the Head Golf Professional at the Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown , Ma. Teaching will still be a big part of Toms career. Tom has been teaching for over 20 years. He has given over 20,000 lessons. He was voted in the top 25 of golf instructors in New England for 2012.He brings his experience as a teacher and player to help his students learn the golf swing and how to play better golf. He uses simple, but effective, training methods to help the student understand how to improve. Tom has assistants who have vast experience in the golf business. He trains his staff to coach the same principles that ensure the student is learning and improving. Tom also coached the Beverly High School Varsity Golf team which has made the State Tourney each year he has coached. He has coached several NEC All Stars and NEC Open winners. Tom is a member of the PGA of America which is the standard for all golf instructors. His vast experience of the last 20 plus years makes him one of the best.
